王彦辉，男，汉族，中共党员，1984年10月生，河南尉氏县人。2012年6月湖南农业大学农药学专业毕业，获农学博士学位。2020年至2021年在澳大利亚西澳大学做访问学者。2021年12月获研究员职称。兼任中国植物保护学会青年工作委员会委员、中国植物保护学会植物化感专业委员会委员、国家自然科学基金通讯评审专家。
    主要从事杂草防控、杂草抗药性和除草剂毒理等方面的研究。先后主持和参加过国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划、农业部公益性（农业）行业科研专项、广西自然科学等农业科研项目10余项。以第一发明人获得国家发明专利4项、实用新型专利1项。
    在《Journal of Hazardous Materials》、《Pest Management Science》、《Weed Science》、《Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology》等专业刊物上发表《Halosulfuron methyl did not have a significant effect on diversity and community of sugarcane rhizosphere microflora》、《A dinitroaniline herbicide resistance mutation can be nearly lethal to plants》、《Comparative analysis of resistance to ALS-inhibiting herbicides in smallflower umbrella sedge (Cyperus difformis) populations from direct-seeded rice and puddled-transplanted rice systems》、《Multiple herbicide resistance in Eleusine indica from sugarcane fields in China》等论文32多篇，其中国际刊物17篇，中文核心刊物15篇。
    先后荣获广西农业科学院优秀共产党员（2015）、先进工作者（2017年）、首届青年拔尖人才（2017年）等荣誉称号。
